Modulatis is a contemporary interpretation of lattice using our proprietary modular system. Sixteen inch lattice squares float within a hardwood grid are separated by a 1/4" reveal. The lattice square patterns are designed so that pattern lines extend to adjacent squares, creating a larger and continuous pattern. By rotating and flipping squares with asymmetrical patterns, designers can create pattern variations.
Grid sizes are up to 5 rows wide by 5 rows high, or 80 inches square. Modulatis ships in several small boxes, reducing shipment costs and allowing staging in hard to reach areas such as roof decks, that a single screen might not be able to access. Solid squares can be added to control views and privacy.
The Modulatis Base Screen (MBS) can be used as a minimalist wall trellis, or within a site-built frame. An optional 2 3/4" frame is available for a more traditional look or as a structural element for free-standing posts. Optional Landscape Posts are also available.
Pattern - C150 or Basketweave belongs to the Chinois Collection, a collection of timeless Chinese motifs. We can build Classic Framed Screens in any of our patterns or to a customer designed pattern.
Dimensions - Modulatis comes in 14 sizes.
- MBS comes in widths and heights of 16.75, 32.75, 48.75, 64.75, and, 80.75. Depth is 1.50.
- MBS with optional frame 2.75 inch comes in widths and heights of 22, 38, 54, 70, and 84. Depth is 1.75.
Lattice Profile - Most screens are built in 363 profile (3/4 inch stick face, 1 1/2 inch stick depth, 3 inch on center). The smallest opening is 2 1/4 inch, providing an optimal balance of pattern, privacy, and light. 
Installation - Requires tool-less assembly. We provide optional hardware for:
- Wall-mount includes stainless steel screws, stand-offs, and wood plugs. All frames are pre-bored for simple installation.
- Landscape Posts to create standalone and self supporting structures including free standing screens, equipment screens, and fences.li>
